MEET DR. KAREN C. PACK 

 Leadership focused on academics and fiscal responsibility

Dr. Karen Pack, who earned a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership, is an experienced educator who has lived in the Deer Valley District for almost 50 years. She graduated from Deer Valley High School, was president of the PTSA when her children, who are now grown, attended school in the Deer Valley district, and was also a Girl Scout Leader, a Cub Scout Mom, and a Sunday school teacher.  Karen Pack has also volunteered as a blood drive coordinator for the past seven years and is a regular blood donor. Her O-universal donor's blood is also CMV negative - babies' blood! She believes that we need to do what is ultimately in the best interest of children, who are the future leaders of our city, state, and country.

She would consider the issues, listen to all the stakeholders’ concerns, gather ideas and suggestions, do the research, and work collaboratively to make informed decisions.

- effective and responsible use of funds

 

Dr. Pack states:  I want to put children first by working with families, educators, and district personnel professionally and effectively to make informed decisions. It is all about my care and concern for my community – we can do great things if we work together!
